Dr. Hildebrand is a
founder, director and serves as the Chief Medical and Strategic Officer
for Inoveon Corporation.
Dr. Hildebrand is a board certified ophthalmologist, a Fellow of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmologists and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology where he chairs the Medical Information Technology Committee. Prior to his ophthalmology training, Dr. Hildebrand was the President and managing partner for Midlands Family Medicine, a seven office multi-specialty primary care practice based in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Oregon Health Sciences University and joined the faculty at OU College of Medicine in 1994. From 1995-1998 he served as the Associate Director for the OU Center for Telemedicine while an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Hildebrand completed his undergraduate training in Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg, his medical degree at the University of Manitoba and practiced family medicine for eight years in Iowa. He has served as co-chair of the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Standards Committee since 1998 and is a liason member of the College of American Pathologists SNOMED Editorial Board. |
