Working with physicians, we create and seamlessly integrate the iContact patient communications program that reaches out to patients for scheduling their annual evaluations. Our experience shows this not only increases compliance, but also patients' positive feelings of satisfaction about their diabetic care. That means primary care physicians can perform the same level of exam as in the DCCT, they can meet HEDIS guidelines for annual testing, and they can achieve high patient satisfaction scores.
